Request for assignment of a National Product Code (CNP)
The National Product Code (CNP) is a code assigned by the National Pharmacy Association (ANF), which allows the identification of health products in the pharmacy channel circuit. The CNP request is optional, with associated costs, and is intended only for the national market, however it is an added value in commercial transactions in pharmacies, as it allows speed and ease in communication in the commercial circuit, allows an increase in the potential for sales advice and also an increase in the quality and security of product information.
The coding request process is submitted to the ANF, electronically, through the registration form with the manufacturer's or distributor's data, the documents inherent to the product to be coded, and payment of the associated fees. The attribution of coding for a food supplement presupposes prior registration with the Poison Information Center (CIAV).
If you want to request coding for your products, you can count on the support of Pharmilab to handle all stages of the process.
